What the day will look like

The Office of Cybersecurity Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Cyber Risk Management and Business Management operations. This position will ensure the seamless execution of day-to-day responsibilities and drive strategic initiatives across the department. This person will help manage key cross-team initiatives that align to the core vision and mission of Aon's Global Cybersecurity Solutions (GCS) organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:

Assist in the management of cyber risk and business operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day functionality.

Work across cyber risk and business management teams to ensure a deep interconnectedness, helping to support and drive cross-department initiatives and goals.

Help drive cohesion and consistent processes across the Cyber Risk Management and Business Management teams to create a more united and collaborative organization.

Support in the organization and management of department-wide events, such as GCS town hall meetings, quarterly board presentations and executive-level reporting updates.

Develop and coordinate agendas and materials leadership huddles and department wide engagements and events.

Strategic Planning and Change Management Support:

Partner with our communications and change management teams to support the maturity of efficient processes to streamline outcomes on key GCS priorities and strategic roadmap initiatives.

Drive key escalation outcomes, including audit-related findings, tool and process implementations, feedback gathering, and consolidation from key collaborators, while in alignment with heightening the brand awareness of Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS).

Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Cyber Risk Management and Business Management and other senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations on critical pivotal initiatives.

Help manage special projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely execution.

Key Stakeholder Management:

Facilitate effective communication within the cybersecurity team and with external collaborators, ensuring transparency and alignment on objectives.

Help drive the continuous buildout of key collaborator committees and champion groups, including evolving our Cyber Champion community of practices and ensuring key partners to GCS are engaged and informed.

Develop a feedback mechanism across colleagues both within and outside of GCS to ensure we are continuously building out opportunities to enhance and mature our programs, processes, and success criteria for key initiative outcomes.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • 8 years of experience demonstrating proficiency in a risk management environment within Technology.
  • Solid understanding of audit and risk governance oversight inclusive of business operations within the financial services industry.
  • Superb communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive multi-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $140k- $160k annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location.
