Department Summary The School of Business at the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning Fall 2026. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service, and who are enthusiastic about contributing to a growing and dynamic academic environment. The UNT Dallas School of Business recently became a member of AACSB. Position Overview Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires a demonstrated record of scholarly, peer-reviewed publications and academic experience commensurate with the rank at an AACSB-accredited institution. Tenure is not granted at appointment and must be earned through the university's formal tenure review process. Minimum Qualifications * Doctoral degree in Accounting or Business with a concentration in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is expected within one year of hire and the candidate is able to teach and meet all on-campus obligations.
