Description This position is open as Commerce is looking to consolidate and integrate a more cohesive testing strategy across the enterprise. The role would report to Ash Tadimala (would be her right hand person) and they are looking for an architect that has solid background with testing, and is interested in leading change for the organization. This role would research different options for the organization, and is willing to get their hands dirty to work on various testing concepts for the organization. Commerce is currently using different frameworks across the organization, so this role is somewhat flexible relative to coding languages and testing automation tools/frameworks as long as the person coming in is flexible and willing to build things from scratch. They will be working with different levels of leadership, so need to be comfortable with communication across different parts of the business. The person that is going to win this role will be one that is familiar with strategy and building various testing concepts out from soup to nuts, but is still in a hands on testing role. Personality is HUGE for this role--need someone with strong communication skills that when Ash is out, would be comfortable presenting concepts to various senior stakeholders in the organization but has the technical skills to be hands on with testing as well. They need to be a strong collaborator, be comfortable thinking outside the box, and open to trying new concepts. Be a problem solver and adaptable (not too stuck in their ways). Develop and maintain basic-level domain reference architecture Participate in cross domain reference architecture development Serve as the domain architecture consultant for development teams Participate in architecture reviews Manage architecture exceptions for domain Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies that include automated, manual, performance, and security testing Design and maintain scalable testing frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Work closely with development teams to integrate testing practices into the software development lifecycle Establish and enforce quality standards and metrics for software quality assurance Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and ensure alignment with the organization's testing goals Perform other duties as assigned Skills Java, Api, Test plan, Quality assurance, Test automation, sql, ci/cd, design documentation, integration, microservices, financial services Top Skills Details Java,Api,Test plan,Quality assurance,Test automation,sql,ci/cd,design documentation,integration,microservices Additional Skills & Qualifications Complex problem solving skills Ability to understand and address application issues including integrations and connectivity Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and vendor representatives Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
