Cardiac Rehab Office Coordinator - Cardiopulmonary Rehab

Full-time, M-F, 7:30a-4:30p

Job Description:

Responsible and accountable for daily operation of Cardiopulmonary Rehab office activities. Assists with the financial management of the department to include payment requests, verification of patient charges, and maintenance of supplies. Work closely with medical staff, other medical personnel, intra and interdepartmental personnel to provide accurate and timely scheduling of cardiopulmonary rehab visits. Responsible for accurate patient registration. Maintains a working knowledge of current billing software; EChart, Sentry and numerous payer websites.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in a physician's office, transcription pool, or as a department secretary preferred.
