We're seeking a Service Technician to join our dedicated team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you'll repair and maintain upper and lower limb prosthetics, directly contributing to freedom of movement. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Repairs, calibrates and maintains upper or lower prosthetics.
  • Performs component testing protocols for quality assurance.
  • Provides technical assistance to customers regarding repair issues, estimates, product knowledge and compatibilities.
  • Offers guidance to customers on repair decisions.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Shows dependability by being to work on time and plans requests for time off ahead of schedule.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Promotes and personally observes safety procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of related technical experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of computer experience; must confidently operate a computer and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. ERP systems (like SAP) experience a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and inspection equipment.
  • General mechanical aptitude or equipment troubleshooting and repair experience a plus.
  • Ability to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with appropriate audience.
  • Demonstrated basic organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with hand and power tools including the care and maintenance of equipment preferred.
  • Safely operates shop equipment and follows safety guidelines.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented. Ability to follow written work instructions (English).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and participate with a team approach.
