The Project Accountant manages financial and compliance requirements on assigned projects.

Primary Duties



  • Ensure that the financial and compliance terms of the contract are accounted, tracked, and recorded accurately.
  • Manage monthly AIA billings, job costing, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers for assigned jobs.
  • Support project team to ensure accurate and timely tracking of owner and subcontractor change orders.
  • Support project team with monthly reporting and job forecast.


Required Qualifications



  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • 2-5 years' accounting experience
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with construction accounting, pay applications, compliance, prevailing wage and certified payroll


The full salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. This position is eligible for a target bonus.

Note: Sick leave accrues at one (1) hour for every 30 hours worked. Accrual for sick leave is capped at 240 hours. At the end of each calendar year, you will be allowed to carry over accrued and unused sick leave up to 240 hours. You will not begin accruing sick leave until you drop below the accrual cap.
