Location: Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA | Hybrid (Onsite Tue-Thu) | 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $56.06/hr

Summary

The Product, Design & Marketing - Creative Infrastructure Team is seeking an Asset Management Specialist. The PD&M organization is responsible in part for all the beautiful content which is designed and seen across all our platforms: Apps/Games, Arcade, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, and the next big thing. Where applicable, we ingest assets from external and internal partners and teams, or conversely, create original content for featuring and publication. This position will place you at the epicenter of these two wonderful worlds, ensuring assets moving through the system are accessible to all relevant parties.

Description

The Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for the following:




  • Translating requirements of design teams to capabilities of the asset management platform or informing feature development.



  • Establishing file and folder taxonomies, setting up workflows within asset management software and systems.



  • Partnering with product owners and engineering teams on user stories, prioritizing feature requests and bug fixes.



  • Ensuring integration of the asset management platform with other project management systems.



  • Carrying out formal user acceptance testing, reporting anomalies in production environments-escalating and tracking accordingly.



  • Assisting with data migration and planning.



  • Assisting with user and group permissions models related to team workflows.



  • Author documentation, create and facilitate high-fidelity presentations for onboarding and periodic training sessions.




Minimum Qualifications




  • Extensive experience evaluating and setting up media and entertainment workflows using industry-leading asset management software and systems to meet multiple business line needs.



  • Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly, as well as understand various project structures, file formats (both static/video), and accompanying metadata.



  • Broad knowledge of library tools, systems, and resources in corporate organizations.



  • Solid design background, expert knowledge of motion and static assets in creative environments.




Preferred Qualifications




  • Proficiency with the macOS platform.



  • Keynote savvy for creation and presentation of collected data or training documentation.



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.



  • Excellent design-sense and follow-through across deliverables.



  • Able to foster a high degree of organization and collaboration across teams.



  • Ability to make complex decisions independently and explain rationale.



  • Draw parallels between various business line needs to formulate consolidated solutions.



  • Experience with industry-standard design software packages utilized in both UI/UX and media and entertainment industries: Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, etc.



  • Excellent project and task-tracking with a proclivity to detail, but ability to frequently step back to see the big picture.


  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Wrike, Airtable, Asana, WorkFront, or similar platforms.
