Position Title: Receiving Associate
Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Receiving Associate at a company in Gurnee, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Receiving Associate Responsibilities: - Operate forklift and motorized pallet jack - Complete and document daily forklift inspections - Use stretch wrap machine to secure freight - Load and unload trailers - Receive shipments and verify against packing lists and purchase orders - Placard inbound freight and store in designated locations - Process warehouse transfers and supply chain transfers - Pull raw components and deliver to shipping - Support multiple docks for receiving/shipping - Maintain clean, organized warehouse and dock areas -Resolve receiving discrepancies - Print and review Open PO report daily - Update records using Syspro and Excel - Cross-train as Material Handler and Inventory Associate - Perform cycle counts and assist with raw material movements Requirements for Receiving Associate: - Good verbal and written communication skills in English - Forklift experience - Strong attention to detail - Ability to stand and move continuously throughout shift - Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy gurnee@qpsemployment.com IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
