UNC-Pembroke is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to maintain and manage facilities associated with UNCP's Biology and Environmental Science programs. The Laboratory Operations Manager will work with
UNCP faculty and staff to support activities related to teaching and research and community outreach. |
Job Description |
The Laboratory Operations Manager provides management and technical support associated with labs and projects in the biological sciences including molecular, animal, plant, and environmental courses and projects. This would include preparation of materials, maintenance of equipment, up-to-date inventories of materials and facilities and clear communication with department managers regarding material needs, purchase of supplies and materials, budgeting, invoices, and logging of purchases. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability of the aforementioned position tasks as well as the ability to work with diverse audiences including and not limited to undergraduate students, faculty, staff, and other members of the wider community. |
