POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Buildings & Structures PM Supervisor supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Buildings & Structures PM Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and optimization of structural building elements and the preventive maintenance activities related to them. The Supervisor acts as a vital link between the planning and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the essential infrastructure at Tinker AFB.



  • Inspects buildings and structures to identify necessary repairs, maintenance, and potential safety hazards.
  • Oversees work progress and quality, ensuring adherence to building codes, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Prioritizes maintenance tasks and allocates resources (personnel, equipment, materials) effectively to ensure efficient completion of work
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural elements.
  • Coordinates with subcontractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs or projects.
  • Enforces safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for their team and others on the base.
  • Ensure compliance with the DoD and Air Force-specific building and safety regulations, including NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, as published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Tinker AFB Facility Standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Five years of experience in construction trades, facilities maintenance, or a related field, with expertise in various building systems like HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team to deliver structure-related projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of workers in a maintenance or construction setting.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing), automation systems software and hardware, installation techniques, and building codes
  • Possess relevant trade certifications, including HVAC, electrical, and OSHA certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, subordinates, and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and familiarity with technical instructions and operating manuals.
