Description We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a Windows 11 desktop refresh project for a client. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on replacing desktop PCs and executing a migration script/playbook. After the project concludes (approx. 4 months) there is potential for a long-term Tier 1 Service Desk position providing remote support to external customers, with opportunities to grow into Tier 2/3 roles. Key Responsibilities: Replace desktop PCs as part of a Windows 11 upgrade Follow a detailed migration script/playbook Provide basic troubleshooting and end-user support (Microsoft environment familiarity is a must) Work independently with minimal supervision Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in desktop or end-user support roles Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network connectivity issues Familiarity with Windows 10/11 environments and desktop imaging processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow structured procedures Reliable transportation for travel around the greater Quincy area Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
