YOUR IMPACT

As a Global Account Manager at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journeys of our most prestigious, multinational customers. You will be entrusted with managing and growing a select portfolio of global accounts-working directly with C-level executives to drive strategic outcomes through OpenText's full suite of Enterprise Information Management solutions.

This high-impact role spans three core areas of excellence: strategic sales, business consulting, and cross-functional leadership. You will be responsible for long-term growth and expansion on your assigned accounts, coordinating complex solution initiatives across geographies and OpenText business units.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Strategic Account Ownership - Manage and grow two global enterprise accounts with full responsibility for customer success, solution expansion, and long-term value delivery.

  • Executive Engagement - Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior business and IT leaders across customer organizations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Align virtual teams-including Account Executives and specialists-across business units to support multi-solution opportunities.

  • Complex Deal Leadership - Plan and execute large-scale, cross-border deals that align OpenText's capabilities with customer transformation goals.

  • Thought Partnership - Serve as a consultative advisor by deeply understanding your customers' industries, challenges, and strategic objectives.

  • Market Impact - Help your customers thrive in a digital-first world by delivering intelligent information management solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 10+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of managing large, global customers.

  • Strong background in strategic and consultative selling, including leading complex, multi-solution deals.

  • Demonstrated success in commercial and contractual negotiations with multinational organizations.

  • Deep experience working with C-level executives across both business and IT functions.

  • Expertise in value-based selling and enterprise solution positioning.

  • Strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and cultural empathy.

  • Proven ability to align internal resources and influence virtual teams to achieve customer outcomes.

  • High intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly grasp new technologies and solution areas.

  • Strong understanding of competitive dynamics and industry trends in the digital transformation space.

  • Bachelor's degree required; additional executive or technical education is a plus.

  • Location: Ideally located near the headquarters of one of your assigned global customers to enable frequent in-person engagement.
