Duties also consist in undergraduate student advising, service to the Chinese program, and support of UCR undergraduate students and the major in Chinese. It is the expectation of the Department of Comparative Literature and Languages that all language lecturers adhere to departmental norms for language instruction as well as to curricular and pedagogical norms in the language program (or programs) in which they teach.
