To Analyze, Plan, Develop, Implement And Coordinate Policies And Procedures For Systems Of Worldwide/International Import And Export Operations. To Assure Various Depadrtments Are Thoroughly Coordinated In A Concentrated Effort To Efficiently Obtain Corporate Goals Related To International Freight Service. Bachelor'S Degree/Equivalent. Seven (7) Years Related International Freight Experience. U.S. Customs Brokerage License Required. Knowledge At The Expert Level Of Laws And Regulations Of U.S. Customs Service, Fcc, Epa, Usda, U.S. Fish And Wildlife Service, Fda, And Various Other Federal Agencies. Ability To Interpret The Full Range Of Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Title 19, Code Of Federal Regulations, Customs Enforcement Techniques, U.S. Treasury Dept. Decisions/Rulings/Directives, Customs Bulletin And Federal Register. Ability To Effectively Exercise Diplomacy In Situations Involving Controversial Regulatory & Operational Matters Between The Corporation, Customers, Federal Agencies And Contract Customs Brokers. Minimum Education Bachelors degree required. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years of related experience and a U.S. Customs brokerage license required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Expert-level knowledge of the laws and regulations of various federal agencies, including U.S. Customs Service, FCC, EPA, USDA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FDA, and others. Ability to interpret harmonized tariff schedules, title 19, code of federal regulations, customs enforcement techniques, and other relevant documents is essential. Knowledge of existing international regulations and how they impact policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience with Customs and regulatory compliance.
