- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Professional - $38.34 to $57.52 (hour)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Senior - $42.27 to $63.41 (hour)
*Based on hours worked per week and years of experience.

Additional Information
Hours per week: 40,eligible for benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. No evenings, weekends, holidays or call.
Minimum Qualifications
- EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program.
- EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Only required to be considered for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Senior position
- CERTIFICATION(S):
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist(CNMT)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
Responsibilities
- Produces high quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper imaging protocols.
- Facilitates patient flow daily; to include management of STAT/urgent and high priority patients.
- Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for procedures.
- Provides clear and detailed information regarding the procedure and care to patients, families, coworkers, and others.
- Operates all imaging equipment; to include ancillary equipment following safety procedures and protocols.
- Utilizes principles of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and ensures proper radiation safety practices.
- Maintains required competency in dose reduction techniques and the Image Gently Campaign.
- Maintains safety training and competencies for handling, shipping and administering radiopharmaceuticals
- Demonstrates initial and annual competency in IV placement and securement, vascular access devices and extravasation handling
- In the event of an emergency will act as first responder and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) until help arrives.
- Assists Provider with procedures as necessary (Maintaining technologist Scope of Practice). Follows established procedural guidelines; documents appropriate information as required; practices aseptic/sterile technique and standard precautions when necessary.
