Job Summary

Responsible for setting up equipment and weld parts using Stick Piping Weld and Tig. Handles the layout, assembly, installation on pipe. Opportunity to learn HVAC in installs/retrofits new HVAC systems (duct and equipment).

Essential Duties

  • Installs and performs retrofits of HVAC systems with intermediate to expert knowledge of piping and/or sheet metal tradecrafts.
  • Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
  • Completes quoted projects and demand service calls while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects.
  • Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
  • Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
  • Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred.
