We are currently seeking an exceptional Trade Compliance Import Operations Analyst here at Incora.

As Trade Compliance Import Operations Analyst, duties include but are not limited toensuring businesses adhere to international trade laws and regulations, including US Harmonized Tariff System (USHTS) codes, U.S. customs procedures, U.S. export controls, and sanctions, to avoid penalties and maintain legal and compliant operations.

About You:

  • Ensuring accurate Harmonized Tariff Code classification of goods including USHTS commodity codes for import and export.
  • Preparing, gathering and reviewing documentation for timely U.S. customs clearance. This will include but not limited to gathering information such as country-of-origin documents, mill certificates, country of pour and melt (smelt) documentation for all goods entering the US as applicable to sections 232 and 301.
  • Gathering and retaining Free Trade Agreement documents for U.S. import clearance.
  • Monitoring and reporting on trade compliance activities.
  • Staying up with changes in trade regulations and advising management accordingly.
  • Filing an EEI and navigate through ACE (Automated Commercial Environment).
  • Working with internal departments (e.g., supply chain, transportation, shipping finance, and legal) to ensure compliance.
  • Communicating with external partners (e.g., customs brokers, freight forwarders, government agencies

More About You:

  • Bachelor's degree (International Trade/Supply Chain Management) or equivalent Trade Compliance of on-the-job experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of trade compliance experience (import/export operations and compliance)

Experience

  • Experience with international transportation.
  • Familiarity with parcel carrier's processes and procedures (DHL, FEDEX, UPS, etc.).
  • Experience and knowledge of international shipping procedures and requirements throughout North America.
  • Knowledge and experience with U.S. Customs regulations pertaining to Sections 301, 232 and reciprocal tariffs.
  • Familiar with ITAR and EAR regulations, U.S. Import/Export regulations and applicable exemptions, AES filings through the ACE system.
