About the Role

As our Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing infrastructure and process equipment that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You'll lead strategic initiatives that align with food quality certifications, optimize energy use, and drive continuous improvement across our facilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Managing the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure and process equipment.
  • Ensuring process capability and cost efficiency aligned with product specifications.
  • Leading engineering projects that meet food quality certifying body requirements.
  • Developing and executing a 3-5 year Long-Range Capital Plan for regional facilities.
  • Reporting regularly on project status and performance.
  • Investigating major equipment and process failures and recommending solutions.
  • Participating in cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Supporting energy optimization and environmental control efforts.
  • Traveling 25-50% to support projects, primarily focused on the Hattiesburg, MS facility.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a visionary leader and hands-on engineer who's passionate about driving change and delivering results.

You'll bring:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (REQUIRED).
  • Proven experience in Program or Change Management or leading organizational change.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • The ability to influence and collaborate with employees, leadership, and external vendors.
  • A self-starter mindset with high personal accountability and creativity.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across our regional facilities, including:

    • Watertown, WI
    • Mankato, MN
    • Norfolk, NE
    • Quincy, IL
    • Hattiesburg, MS




*This position will report to one of these five facilities or our corporate office in the greater Milwaukee area.

Mileage and expense reimbursement provided for work-related travel.
