Job Description

The Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all personnel. The Bar Manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures



Responsibilities

    Responsible for the day-to-day operation for all restaurant functions, to include efficient and effective running of all events ensuring operating costs are minimized.
  • Supervise and coordinate assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation awareness standards. Prepare daily for health department and Ecosure inspections.
  • Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
  • Maintain condition of dining room, lobby lounge, morsels, mini bar, and room service.
  • Assist manager in; scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
  • Ensures prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival
  • Conduct/attend all required department trainings and meetings.
  • Perform any other duties required by management


Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management role preferred.
  • Must have the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Understanding of Food and Beverage financials including cost and par controls is preferred.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Union environment experience preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.
  • Must be Food Handler and TIPS certified.
  • Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.
