What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a forward-thinking Senior Manager, Talent Development to join our Learning & Talent Development team. This important role is responsible for developing and managing leadership development programs that align with the organization's people strategy. Support goal-setting and individual growth while guiding feedback and coaching conversations to foster a culture of continuous learning. By creating impactful development experiences and identifying opportunities to strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels, this role ensures a strong pipeline of talent prepared to lead the organization into the future.

What You'll Do:

  • Talent Development

    • Partner with Human Resources and people leaders to enhance and build talent programs that drive career growth, employee retention, and measurable business results

    • Roll out a variety of learning methods, including coaching, job-shadowing, online training, leadership development, and structured LMS programs

    • Design and lead Leadership Development initiatives for entry-level and mid-level leaders by gathering data, analyzing trends, and deploying targeted solutions

    • Collaborate to develop impactful onboarding programs that set team members up for success and enhance their long-term experience with Loews

    • Lead personal development plans and initiatives, particularly for entry- and mid-level managers, fostering a culture of continuous growth

    • Track the success of development programs and help team members maximize learning and career growth opportunities

    • Assist leaders in guiding team members' career progression through clear career paths and development plans across all departments

    • Travel to hotels to facilitate training and development programs and attend management meetings as needed

  • Performance Management

    • Support the development, communication, and execution of Loews Hotels' performance management cycle for both hourly and salaried team members, including annual reviews, check-ins, and year-end processes

    • Oversee communication and support for performance management programs across the organization, providing webinars and ongoing updates

    • Facilitate the cascading of goals from organizational objectives to individual employee levels

    • Analyze performance data to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement

  • Additional Responsibilities

    • Attend all required meetings and/or training sessions and maintain regular attendance in compliance with Loews Hotels & Co standards

    • Comply with required departmental and company policies, procedures and service standards and safety regulations and procedures

    • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, Business Management or similar discipline required; Master's degree preferred

  • 5 years of experience in talent development, leadership development, and performance management

  • Hospitality experience or a related field preferred

  • Expertise in performance management design, tracking, and reporting

  • Proven ability to analyze talent data and extract valuable organizational insights

  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change initiatives

  • Project management skills with a track record of aligning talent development with business strategy

  • Experience with sourcing and implementing learning and talent technologies

  • Strong communication skills, ability to speak in the language of purpose and impact to stakeholders, leaders and vendors

  • Ability to work through complex issues with diplomacy and clarity; ensuring that our values are front and center as you resolve challenges and plan for the future

  • Available and willing to travel approximately 15-25% of the time
