About the Job Develop and direct creative content for assigned sports and units within 22-sport Intercollegiate Athletics Department. Work with Director of Creative Services to enhance brand identity for athletic department and each sport through original and creative design concepts. Assist in maintaining design standards while ensuring quality representation of the Gopher Athletics brand. Evaluate, nurture, and perpetuate the Gopher Athletics brand in a way that's congruent with the University of Minnesota. Commit to adhering to all rules and regulations of the Department, the University, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA. Assist in advancing the departments mission, vision, and strategic plan including its commitment to equity and diversity by demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate and create content that exhibits cultural competency. This position works within the Creative Services unit and works closely with all support staff groups and coaching staffs. Responsibilities: 50% - Manage all graphic design content for assigned sports including marketing, social media, communications and other external units' materials. 40% - Work closely with coaching staffs to produce recruiting content for assigned sports. Provide art direction during photo shoots for various sport digital campaigns. 10% - Design of print and digital collateral for key support staff units Qualifications
