Position Overview The Ohio State Universitys School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a temporary faculty member within our Health Sciences and Health Information Systems division at the Lecturer rank. The primary responsibility of this position is the preparation and instruction of 1 credit of HIMS 5655: Health Care Data Base Administration, assisting the primary instructor. Teaching will take place during autumn semester 2025 (August 26 December 18, 2025). Teaching will occur with students in the lab. The work assignments will be based on the curriculum of the accredited program and the teaching needs of the Division. This is an associated faculty position, non-tenure. The primary responsibility of this position is the preparation and instruction of 1 credit of HIMS 5655: Health Care Data Base Administration, assisting the primary instructor. Education and Experience Requirements Required: Bachelor's Degree Desired: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential Experience in management in Health Information Management, training, and mentoring direct reports in various positions in Health Information Management.
