We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Risk & Business Continuity Specialist to support enterprise risk management and lead the development and maintenance of our business continuity and disaster recovery programs. This role is critical to ensure the organization is prepared for and can effectively respond to operational disruptions, cyber events, and other business-impacting risks.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of risk assessment, continuity planning, and crisis management, along with excellent communication and coordination skills.

What You'll Be Doing/Scope:

Risk Management

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational, strategic, compliance, and third-party risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies and track remediation efforts.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, heatmaps, and scenario analysis.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) plans across the organization.
  • Conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify critical functions, dependencies, and recovery requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead BCP/DR testing and tabletop exercises; analyze results and drive improvements.
  • Maintain documentation for all plans, playbooks, and response procedures.

Incident Response & Crisis Management

  • Support incident and crisis response efforts, including communication and coordination during events.
  • Collaborate with IT, facilities, legal, and HR teams to ensure an integrated approach to resilience.

Training & Awareness

  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and resilience through training, workshops, and ongoing communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on risk and continuity best practices.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, SOC 2).
  • Prepare documentation and reports for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise risk, business continuity, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of BCP/DR planning methodologies, crisis management, and risk assessment tools.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on detail and execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, CRMP, or ARM.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, energy).
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms or risk management tools (e.g., Archer, Fusion, LogicManager).

The salary range for this position is $105,262 to $125,000.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
