Procore is looking for a Sr. Director of Engineering to join our Product and Technology team. In this role you will shape the experience of thousands of users worldwide as you oversee the development of execution of our Helix Reporting & Analytics products. We're seeking a leader to propel our team to the next level, crafting a technical vision in partnership with product, sales, and marketing teams that will scale and empower Procore's Users to leverage the data, reporting, analytics and insights available through Procore..

This position will report to our Senior Vice President, Engineering and will be based in our Austin, Texas office.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with business leaders across Product, Design and Engineering to define and execute on a compelling vision for improving our in-product experiences. Focused on Reporting, Analytics and Insights data systems.

  • Own and evangelize a technical strategy to help us improve the analytics we are able to provide our customers.

  • Steer the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data systems, including data ingestion, data processing and processing , data storage, data modeling, data access and data visualization.

  • Leverage machine learning, artificial intelligence and agentic patterns to improve the impact and effectiveness of business systems.

  • Continue to attract and retain a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts with the ability to develop advanced and dynamic algorithms that can function and evolve at scale.

  • Align with senior engineering and technical leaders on organizational-wide initiatives that are both technical and cultural.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience designing and leading large-scale Engineering organizations.

  • Stakeholder management and the ability to bridge the needs of internal stakeholders with data architecture, AI, and analytics.

  • Ability to represent and promote complex business or technical architectural concepts both internally and externally.

  • Experience working closely with product management, Design, Corporate Strategy, and engineering functions

  • Strong experience with data lake architectures, data warehousing solutions, and real-time data processing systems.

  • Strong experience developing high availability customer facing solutions.

  • 15+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related data fields.

  • 15+ years in a technical management capacity in an enterprise with a high performing technical team

  • Passionate about Procore and the problems we are solving for the construction industry

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $220,000 - $302,500. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
