Treasury Manager

Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:

• Team Leadership: Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions and effective management of working capital.Solve problems to help drive collections and on time payments. Lead and develop a team of treasury professionals. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure a high-performing team.
• Cash Management:Monitor and manage the company's daily cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs. Proactively manage on time collection of receivables and timing of payables. Optimize cash balances, including management of supplier chain financing, line of credit usage and investment of excess funds in the Institutional Insured Investment Deposit account.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: Working in conjunction with FP&A, prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets. Provide input in the corporate budgeting and forecast processes.
• Lead and support working capital optimization programs in Roskam Foods.
• Banking Relationships:Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners. Negotiate banking services and fees to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Debt Management:Manage the company's debt payments, support the process for any new debt issuance, and make recommendations related to the company's line of credit usage. Ensure compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements.
• Travel, Credit Card & Expense Reporting: Own the administration of the employee travel website, the credit card program, and the expense reporting process. Issue reports, analytics, and insights on these programs. Make and lead recommendations for improvement.
• Reporting:Prepare and present monthly reports and analysis on the company's accounts payable and receivable performance, accounts payable processing metrics, travel and working capital. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Finance Technology: Own the department centric finance technologies (Medius A/P, SAP Concur, Workday expense reports, third party banking solutions) including user administration and report issuance. Ensure we are maximizing the technologies to drive efficiencies. Keep up to date on potential upgrades and improvements and maintain a 2-year roadmap for Medius Accounts Payable.
• Accounting: Support the month end close process including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all treasury activities.
