Client Manager - Commercial Insurance

• Work with various insurance industry personnel to revise coverage, renew and create insurance policies and proposal packages - handles presentation of same.
• In coordination with Producers, coordinate logistics of the overall Account Management process.
• Issue and process various insurance documents, such as Certificates of Insurance, invoicing, renewals, etc.
• Review customer contracts to assure compatibility of coverages with contract requirement.
• Review policies for accuracy and follow-up of needed corrections.
• Provide high level assistance to clients and customers to satisfactorily resolve business account issues.
• Provide hands on support to existing accounts and clients. (e.g., answering questions, furnishing supporting documentation,interpreting and communicating policy coverage, etc.).
• May perform cross-functional tasks and serve as back-up to other members of staff members or management team.
• Promote account "rounding" identifying potential exposures of existing clients.
• Identifying & recommending suitable coverage to address such exposures.
• Input information and track activities in account management system software program.
• Assist in designing workflows for the area, assists with and help design training and development for the commercial lines staff.

You have:

• High school degree and 5-10 years ofaccount management/customer service experience in the Commercial Lines -Property and Casualty insurance industry
• Current Property and Casualty license in the state of Alabama
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience/skills with varied commercial software programs including Microsoft Office
• Fundamental mathematical skills and the ability to perform basic calculations for policy need
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/customers and assignments as evidenced by a quantifiable track record in prior positions

You may have:

• Bachelor's or other educational degree(s)
• CISR, CIC, CRM, CPCU or other professional designations
• Experience using varied agency management systems, including, but not limited to: Vertafore Agency Platform/AMS360/Work Smart/Image Right and others
• Prior experience in presentations and preparation of similar for both internal and external audiences
