Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux/Windows environments, data analytics, and KG tool integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Python development, system integration, and troubleshooting within complex software ecosystems. A working knowledge of ElasticSearch, NiFi, and Splunk is essential.

This role requires proactive problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate across technical teams, and a commitment to delivering robust data-driven solutions.

The Level 4 Application Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Proficiency with Vine KG Tool and/or GENOME KG Tool
• Strong development experience in Java
• Working knowledge of Splunk for log analysis and monitoring
• Development experience with Python
• Background or knowledge in ElasticSearch and Apache NiFi

• IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, etc.)

Desired Skills & Capabilities:

• Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues between KG software and hardware components
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular 10+
• Additional experience in Java for full-stack or backend support
• Familiarity with MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Sybase
  

Qualifications:

• All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.
• Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Ten (10) years minimum experience and an associate's degree. Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

Certifications Required:

• IAT Level 2 Certification.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 185,000-235,000
