Clinical Social Worker lll Psych-ZSFG-Adult-CWCM Full Time 85313BR Job Summary The Clinical Social Worker III (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) will be assigned to the Citywide Case Management CASC Team in partnership with the San Francisco Adult Probation Department (SFAPD). The incumbent will service a caseload of 15-17 individuals identified by SFAPD as needing mental health services. Clients will be re-entering the community after substantial and/or repeated periods of incarceration. The incumbent will provide comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, case management, individual and group therapy, and substance abuse services. Clients will receive their mental health and substance abuse services at CWCM's clinic at 982 Mission Street, San Francisco and at SFAPD's Community Assessment and Service Center (CASC). Clinician will be assisting clients in meeting their needs and will make referrals as appropriate. In addition, the CSWIII will be the lead clinician providing collaborative court liaison services (eg. Behavioral Health Court, Intensive Supervision Court, Young Adult Court), providing relevant clinical information to court partners and advocating on behalf of other CSWs as needed. The CSW III will also serve as lead trainer for new CASC staff, providing mentorship to newer clinicians. CSW III will contribute to other special projects as needed, including helping to plan cultural events at the CASC and participating in the San Francisco Reentry Council's Direct Services Subcommittee. The CSW III has advanced clinical knowledge/skills and is distinguished from the CSW II by the leadership activities listed above (court liaison duties, training of new staff/partners, and spearheading other special projects as needed). The overall goal of CWCM and SFAPD's collaboration is to treat high risk clients, promote safe and sustained re-entry into the community and reduce recidivism into the criminal justice system. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
