We are seeking an exceptional Logistics Operator IV to join our Warehouse Operations team in Camas, WA.

  • Day Shift:Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30PM
    This position is responsible for shipping and receiving incoming product, component material, and RMAs from customers. Ensures accuracy by verifying vendor, parts received, and quantity received in accordance with purchase orders. Repackages or relabels material, as necessary. Separates material requiring physical and electronic inspection. Reviews, pulls, and delivers requested product to Production using forklifts, pallet jacks and/or other appropriate equipment. Performs all duties with focus on safety, quality and customer service.
    Responsibilities:
    • Receives incoming products, component materials, and RMAs from customers.
    • Ships product to outside entities, domestic and international.
    • Ensures accuracy by verifying vendor, parts, and quantity received in accordance with purchase orders.
    • Repackages or relabels material, as necessary.
    • Reviews, pulls, and delivers requested product to Production using forklifts, pallet jacks and/or other appropriate equipment.
    • Performs all duties with focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
    • Maintains all training expectations and certifications on assigned tasks and area(s).
    • Participates in and leads inventory and Kaizen events.
    • Serves as a positive role model to team members; provides peer mentorship and training.
    • Follows all safety guidelines, such as wearing protective clothing, safety glasses, enclosed shoes, as required by the task or work area.
    • Handles all potentially hazardous materials or chemicals using proper safety precautions.
    • Initiates and role models recurring assignments; uses good judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines and procedures from among several specific references.
    • Recommends and implements methods and procedures on new assignments.
    • Assists with vehicle and equipment inspections, scheduling maintenance, and cleaning.
    • Promptly reports any safety incidents, near misses or hazards.
    • Drive daily problem-solving activities to resolve and escalate issues as required.
    • Communicate with Logistics leadership on existing processes and capabilities.
    • Performs duties efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple demands and short time frames with minimum supervision.
    • May serve as informal/technical lead.
    • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse. Ensure that all items are properly stored and that the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
    • Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Conducts ongoing audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and completeness, and make necessary updates to the inventory records.
    • Utilizes inventory management software and other tools to maintain accurate records.
    • Maintains open and effective communication with various teams, including Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Identifies and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and take proactive measures to prevent inventory-related issues.
    • Occasional travel between Camas and Vancouver, as needed, to support inventory management and audits.
    • Trains others in the department
    Qualifications:
    • For Logistics Operator IV level - Requires a minimum of 1 year experience as an Logistics Operator III and certified on assigned station(s), or 3+ years equivalent combination of relevant experience and education or demonstrated proficiency with all Logistics Operator IV requirements.
    • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of logistics operations and ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
    • Ability to participate in MP, as needed.I and JSA Reviews and Red line.
    • Ability to train new employees on one or more operations.
    • Current Forklift Certification or ability to obtain one.
    • Ability to exercise initiative in completing recurring assignments; uses good judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines and procedures from among several specific references.
    • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with coworkers to exchange information related to assignments.
    • Serves as a positive role model to team members.
    • Ability to exercise sound decision making in all areas of work with minimal error.
    • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
    • Trained in 5S system.
    • Proficient using MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Experience working with an ERP/MRP System.
    • Experience with ISO 9001:2000.
    • Complies with 5S system. Ability to maintains Inventory accuracy.

    Starting pay depends on qualifications:
    • Logistics Operator III - starts at $20.80 per hour
    • Logistics Operator IV - starts at $22.37 per hour
    • Logistics Operator V - starts at $23.67 per hour
    • Shift differentialsare paidat the rate of 10% for hours worked between 5:30PMand12:00AM andat15% for hours worked between 12:00AMand5:30AM
    • Target Cash Bonus with potential payout of up to 2% ofearnedwages
