About the Opportunity:

The Vendor Projects and Parts Crib Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance function by maintaining accurate records of all parts and supplies within the crib, issuing them to authorized personnel, and coordinating the replenishment of inventory.

In addition, this role procures, schedules and manages all vendor related work associated with the maintenance department. This includes managing projects that involve external vendors for facilities-related work, including renovations, repairs, and upgrades. Ensures projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Develops and manage project plans, including schedules, budgets, and scope documents. Communicates project status to stakeholders, including management and vendors. Maintains accurate records and documentation for all projects.

Responsibilities:

Parts Crib:

Inventory Management:

* Maintain accurate records of all parts and supplies within the crib, including quantities, locations, and stock levels.

Issuing Parts:

* Issue parts to authorized personnel based on requests, ensuring that the correct parts are dispensed and the proper procedures are followed.

Receiving and Storing Parts:

* Receive new parts, verify against purchase orders, and store them in designated locations.

Inventory Control:

* Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, such as overstocking or shortages.

Ordering Parts:

* Prepare and submit requisitions for parts and supplies as needed.

Maintaining a Clean and Organized Crib:

* Ensure that the parts crib is clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.

Communication:

* Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, supervisors, and other departments regarding parts inventory and needs.

Vendor Project Lead:

Project Planning and Management:

* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

* Manage project scope, ensuring it remains within the agreed-upon boundaries.

* Utilize project management software and tools.

Vendor Management:

* Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.

* Resolve vendor-related issues and conflicts.

* Manage vendor payments and invoices.

* Select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors.

Communication and Collaboration:

* Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders.

* Coordinate with other project teams and departments.

* Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors.

Compliance and Quality:

* Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

* Implement quality control procedures and inspections.

* Address any quality issues or defects promptly.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.

* 3-5 years of project management experience.

* Experience managing projects involving external vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience in a warehouse, tool crib, or parts crib environment.

* MRO Cribs or Maintenance experience preferred.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and problem-solving.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

* Proficiency in project management software.

* Knowledge of facilities-related standards and regulations.

* Basic computer skills, including proficiency with CMMS software and inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation & Benefits:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
