Drafting Supervisor - Crosby TX

JOB SUMMARY - DRAFTING DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR
Daily Supervision of drafting team members duties and
functions, assuring drawings are released with confirmed dimensions; scheduling
jobs and team members to meet customer and production requirements.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
Effectively communicate verbally with co-workers and
supervisors.
Collaborate with coworkers to understand drawing
requirements and specifications
Perform drawing reviews to prevent nonconformance and make
necessary revisions.
Verify drawing dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain organized documentation of designs, revisions, and
projects.
Effectively communicates verbally with co-workers and
supervisors.
Must be able to read and comprehend equipment manuals and
drawings.
Manufacturing quality components in a timely manner to meet
the company's needs.
Performs other duties
as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree - Technical
training or on the job experience Preferred

Work Experience
1-3 years Supervision, measuring instruments
7-9 years work experience Required
4-6 years Computer skills Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to read blueprints
