The function of the Onsite Deployment Project Manager is to manage the deployment of Maritz onsite registration system and related ancillary services. The Onsite Deployment Project Manager will independently align to a portfolio of events that are mid-sized in size, scope, and complexity.

Primary Responsibilities

40% - Technical Expertise: Manages the building, troubleshooting, and deployment of onsite registration system and ancillary services. Leverage enterprise systems to update essential databases, design registration flows, and perform technical testing of programs prior to deployment. While onsite, maintains equipment inventory, oversees setup timelines, provides system training, and monitors service performance.

30% - Onsite Planning & Execution: Supports the planning and execution of onsite events that are mid-sized in size, scope, and complexity specifically related to registration systems and ancillary services. In doing so, coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal project teams to manage the successful development and execution of the onsite plan. Provides expertise from an onsite perspective throughout the lifecycle of the planning phase. While onsite, oversees team with necessary tasks and coordination, escalating for problem resolution as needed. Documents and forwards system behaviors and potential opportunities for improvement.

30% - Onsite Employee & Customer Support: Establish and maintain relationships with event organizers and vendors through the lifecycle of planning and onsite execution - through consultation specific to registration systems and ancillary services. Provides mentorship through shadowing, training, and oversight to more junior onsite team members.

Internal and External Contacts: Internal contacts include, project management, account management, registration specialists, application developers, lead retrieval services, logistics team, onsite operations, event management and IT managers. External contacts include clients and trade show vendors.

Qualifications

1. College degree or equivalent technical certification required.

2. Minimum 2 years work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution required. Experience with Maritz onsite offering preferred.

3. Proven aptitude for technology including hardware, software, networking and data management. 4. Proven record with strong customer service skills.

5. Possesses strong organizational skills. Detail oriented.

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

7. Must be able to consistently lift 30 pounds.

8. Heavy travel required: up to 50% of time is spent traveling or on location at events.
