Job Title: Foreman Location: 650 & 700 Commercial Ave, Carlstadt, NJ 07072 Duration: 4 months Pay Rate: $34.80 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 1^st Shift (Timing not mentioned) Job Description: Hoist Foreman (Construction Elevator) It will follow the same qualifications as the regular Foreman role, but we're specifically targeting candidates with hoisting experience. Resource must be able to commute to the job site in 1 of the 5 boroughs or NJ. Does not necessarily need to live close to the office in Carlstadt. Minimum 5 years of hands-on scaffolding experience in commercial or industrial environments. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading scaffold crews in the field. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required. NYC SST (Site Safety Training) Card - 40 Hours Required (Local Law 196): NYS Scaffold Law Awareness (Labor Law 240 and 241): Familiarity with New York State Scaffold Law and its implications for fall protection liability and worker safety. NYC DOB-approved scaffold Certification Competent Person certification for scaffolding per OSHA standards (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire). Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Must be knowledgeable in OSHA, ANSI, and local/state scaffold regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scaffold designs, and structural drawings. Proficient in completing daily scaffold inspection forms and maintaining documentation logs. Capable of using job site reporting tools and software for timekeeping, inventory, and safety tracking. Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to interact with both field crews and management. Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and hold team members accountable for safety and performance. Must be able to work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; may require travel between job sites.
