About the role:

The Global Process Steward (GPS) position is a key Strategic Leadership role to advance optimization and standardization of the Distribution processes. This is a highly collaborative role providing oversight of global processes and driving consistency of global business and maximizing operational efficiency. The GPS will ensure that Distribution processes are standardized globally. The GPS will partner closely with other processes owners and across functional, geographic and business unit boundaries to achieve Supply Chain end to end alignment

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Gather and provide leading practice perspectives,insights, risks and data analysis to support the development ofend-to-end change vision,prioritization, and agenda
  • End-to-end process expert. Design and update existing processes within their respective areas and present them to the GPL/process council for approval
  • Decipher internal / external business challenges and apply best practices to improve processes and services including upstream and downstream dependencies
  • Supply relevant analytical insights and opportunities proposal / prioritization to the Global Process Lead
  • Drive change management for specific initiatives assigned to them across the end-to-end process
  • Address escalations as point of contact, drive governance of process delivery, change prioritization and improvement initiatives
  • Review performance metrics for the process area and determine future changes to introduce new or different metrics
  • Partner with E2E delivery teams/ end users to evolve process capability& competence
  • Contribute to policy developments based on process and analytical insights



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Engineering, Science, or other relevant areas)
  • 6+ years relevant experience in a supply chain role
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects
  • Ability to travel up to 10%



Preferred qualifications:



  • Professional Project Management Qualification
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Specialized and comprehensive technical and/or functional knowledge in global logistics and has full understanding of other related job functions
  • Ability to leverages this knowledge to recommend new and/or improved work processes, typically at an area level impacting various teams

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
