Overview of this Position:

The Warehouse Supervisor facilitates shipping and receiving, weigh and dispense, inventory control, warehouse and TCU capacity planning and logistics of raw materials, WIP, and finished product activities for all GRAM facilities. Additional tasks include warehouse management, regulatory support as the SCM Warehouse SME, continuous improvement project support, and participation on the safety committee.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management or Inventory Control, or sufficient experience (5+ years supply chain management/warehouse environment).
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work experience with Documentation and Inventory Management Systems.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment; General understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines and multinational regulatory standards.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, transfers and the shipments of inventory (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods).
  • Train and develop departmental team and provide direction to achieve the most efficient flow of work.
  • Supervise warehousing staff daily activities in multiple facilities.
  • Supervise Weigh and Dispense activities to ensure manufacturing schedule is maintained.
  • Monitor and report on TCU and warehouse capacity.
  • Ensure pick and transfer activities to supply materials to the manufacturing lines in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Analyze potential risks and identify solutions to maintain production schedule. Communicate potential risks to supply chain management team.
  • Lead and ensure inventory control initiatives are completed in a timely manner in all applicable facilities.
  • Maintain and update systems and procedures to ensure safety and security of the personnel.
  • Maintain equipment in excellent work conditions, initiate work orders, as needed.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained as required or assigned to assure a businesslike and compliant distribution center for our customers and guests allowing for audit readiness at all times.
  • Assist with internal and external investigations, as needed.
  • Promote continuous improvement in all activities related to supply chain.
  • Collaborate with key management to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations of the company and customer to deliver quality results.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives including onboarding new equipment, facility upgrades and new operational capabilities.
  • Define and develop department metrics. Track and report progress to reduce expenses, improve effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as the regulatory subject matter expert for warehouse and inventory control.
