Position Title: Shipping Associate
Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate in Schofield, WI to manage the shipment of our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products are correctly packed, labeled, and shipped to our customers promptly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) - Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) - Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits - Use computer systems to manage shipment information, track inventory levels, and print labels - Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization - Report any discrepancies to management - Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers - Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven working experience as a warehouse worker or shipping associate - Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods - Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory management - Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Skills: - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment - Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures - Basic understanding of inventory management systems - Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude wausau@qpsemployment.com IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
