The Opportunity

The position will be responsible for a wide range of activities to support enterprise deal process insights and optimization. Your main responsibility will be to provide insights and concrete recommendations that drive efficiencies in the quote-to-cash deal process to increase deal velocity across the business. You will partner closely with the Enterprise Deal Strategy, Deal Desk, Product Management, Sales and Pricing Strategy teams to find opportunities to optimize the deal process. Additionally, you will drive Quarterly Business Reviews, improved product-level deal reporting, and a deeper understanding of deal trends in markets across geos and products through effective analysis and reporting.

What you'll do

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of diverse data sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making and drive increased deal velocity
  • Develop and communicate strategic recommendations based on data analysis and insights to support executive decision-making
  • Partner with Deal Operations to drive deal process optimization
  • Planning, goal setting, tracking key projects, managing operations, and coordinating leadership and all-hands meetings
  • Partner with the Deal Desk organization to assist in resource planning, and data modeling and visualization
  • Own and lead all deal reporting responsibilities, enabling you to partner with BU solution owners to 1) ensure deal approvals are consistent with their pricing and margin strategies, 2) help to develop cohesive go-to-market strategies, and 3) understand trends to derive business insights to inform decision making.
  • Drive continual process improvements to enable increased efficiency for the broader team
  • Ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA a plus) or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years full time work experience in a Finance or Operations capacity (software industry a plus)
  • Excellent data visualization skills in Power BI and Excel
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
  • A high comfort level giving frank and honest assessments, especially when the best path forward may not be popular
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data and summarize for presentation to senior management with an ability to use data to tell a story will be essential
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making abilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills suitable for an executive-level audience
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, high priority projects
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Dynamics is a plus
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $99,600 -- $210,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
