Maintenance Worker

Summary: Responsible for the upkeep of the physical plant.

Pay $22.13

Schedule: This is a Relief Position. 20 hours per week. 1st Shift. We will discuss in the interview. **(Variable as Needed)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
• Repairs, maintains and monitors all equipment.
• Cleans windows and glass doors.
• Changes filters for HVAC as required.
• Removes and rearranges furniture for events as needed.
• Provides on-call maintenance for all facilities across the United States.
• Maintains the property's exterior, including landscaping, snow removal, and tree care.
• Repairs, replaces, or builds to the supervisor's satisfaction any item that needs repair or is found while performing other repairs. This includes all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry problems.
• All maintenance work involving tools, solvents, paints, or other chemicals must be used following all current OSHA regulations.
• Stores all items in compliance with OSHA directives.
• Performs all electrical work following all current guidelines and regulations.
• Responsible for reporting emergencies and unusual occurrences or unethical behavior immediately to the Director, AD, and/or staff duty officer.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of your workplace, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Responsible for all duties as may be assigned by the Director or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent and building or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Basic knowledge of computers and ability to use Outlook to read and send emails as needed.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to travel over the road for an extensive amount of time.
• Successfully complete a company-directed Defensive Driving Course.
• Must be cleared to work by completing a successful background check.
• Must be able to read and write fluently in English.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate with the exception of life safety alarms which are sounded during monthly emergency drills and periodic systems inspections. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and the occasional risk of electrical shock.
