The Data & Advanced Analytic Tools Client Solutions team drives the adoption and use of Optum's data assets and technology solutions in the Life Sciences industry. Optum's industry-leading data assets include clinically robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) data spanning the care continuum, eligibility-controlled affiliate and non-affiliate insurance claims data, a new class of deterministically linked Integrated EHR and claims data, and linked profile data including socio-economic information and health risk assessments (HRAs). Optum's data assets enable our clients to enrich their view of the patient and the patient journey through the healthcare system, serving needs across a spectrum of functional areas including real world evidence, health economics and outcomes research, safety and surveillance, epidemiology, and product commercialization. Optum's ever growing suite of data offerings has led to our latest launch being the CNL (Clinical Notes Lab) data offering. This role will focus on the CNL sales support, and collaboration with Product and Engineering team(s) to further advance and modernize the platform environment to bring success to the CNL product, as well as support of our current products and offerings as needed. Our wealth of data and tool solutions, combined with our industry expertise, is uncovering novel insights and driving real world change. We're now looking for a dynamic Engagement Manager to support our ODDW environment (platform) and ongoing advancement and launch of our data offering products, working closely with our clients across the industry. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Boston, MA preferred. Primary Responsibilities:
The Engagement Manager is expected to support the team serving as the primary point of contact for a collection of clients. The Engagement Manager should become an expert in the contents and uses of Optum Life Sciences' data assets and corresponding platform(s). Success in this role requires: (a) the ability to engage and educate clients and prospects about the assets and capabilities of Optum Life Sciences; (b) creativity to identify and frame specific, even novel, responses to the client's request; (c) comfort working in a matrixed and geographically dispersed organization; and (d) flexibility to navigate organizational change and shifts in responsibilities The Engagement Manager (EM) must have superior communication skills including presentation development and delivery. EM must have the ability to translate technical explanations into easy-to-understand answers for customers. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
