About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer III, our most senior level, you'll lead the design, development, and testing of Ethernet and communications equipment and systems tailored to meet specific customer requirements. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, working alongside a dedicated team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment that encourages both technical excellence and creative problem-solving.

What You'll Do

  • Lead hardware design initiatives including schematics, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing
  • Create and maintain production drawings in compliance with customer and regulatory specifications
  • Research and select electronic components, and assist with sourcing and cross-referencing
  • Directly support in-house manufacturing and troubleshoot designs in production
  • Train and mentor junior team members in areas of expertise
  • Use Six Sigma and experimental methods to validate designs and improve product quality
  • Liaise with customers to define new product requirements and provide on-site support as needed
  • Author specifications for seamless integration with software and test teams
  • Contribute to white papers, intellectual property, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Participate in industry groups to help shape the future of our product roadmap

What We're Looking For

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 7+ years of experience in hardware design or communications systems
  • Proficient in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and design tools (Altium experience preferred)
  • Experience in embedded programming (C, Python, LabWindows CVI, I2C, MDIO, Linux) is a strong plus
  • Background in electronics manufacturing, test automation, and hardware debugging
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and deliver results in a dynamic environment

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $ 108,000- $130,000

annually.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
