SEI, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking for a trusted, driven, and dynamic individual for our Internal Audit department. We are looking for an Experienced Audit Associate with a drive for excellence, team orientation and commitment to our internal stakeholders. The Experienced Audit Associate be able to grow and diversify their skills through the execution of audit plan projects, providing value add recommendations to senior management and mentoring of staff auditors.

What you will do:

  • You'll interact with departments and personnel throughout the company, at all levels, to independently risk assess areas, determine a proper course of action for testing and execute against the developed audit program.

  • You'll serve as a "hands-on" fieldwork leader by performing engagements independently, directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and leading assigned projects through to completion.

  • Facilitate teamwork by contributing to team effort, sharing responsibility for team results and exhibiting a positive attitude.

  • Prepare and submit audit findings and make recommendations to management.

  • Assess procedures and develop audit steps to test compliance with laws and various regulations.

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills both inside and outside the Internal Audit department.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of risks and controls in order to independently develop audit programs.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS degree in accounting, business, finance, MIS or a related field

  • 2 - 5 years combined experience between public accounting and Internal Audit or equivalent in a related field

What we would like from you:

  • Experience with basic IT controls such as access controls, etc, and or SOC 1's is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc) or pursuit of designations is preferred

  • Asset Management Experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with regulators is a bonus (i.e., FFIEC, OCC, SEC, FINRA, etc.)
