Almac Group is currently seeking a
Senior Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant. The Senior Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant oversees the performance of the QA Administrative Assistants (QA Admins), provides guidance and support, conducts annual assessments, and ensures that the team achieves its objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
M-F 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the activities of the QA Administrative Assistants who are responsible for maintaining
quality documentation throughout their lifecycle.
* Assist in the hiring of QA Admin personnel.
* Train, Mentor and provide support to personnel in the team providing advice and guidance to
build on their competence and experience.
* Monitor output, quality and consistency of reporting staff and be accountable for their
performance, ensuing departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Manage Resources for routine tasks without affecting departmental KPIs.
Continuously consider opportunities for business improvement by:
* Being forthcoming with ideas/suggestions regarding process simplification and improved compliance.
* Being proactive regarding implementation of such through the generation/revision of SOPs
* Ensuring collaboration with global counterparts, at all ACS sites, to gain agreement.
* Providing department and/or site training where require
Perform QA Admin Activities associated with the:
* Process for SOP updates
* Allocation electronic document references
* True Copying of various documents
* Logging of action items and customer approvals of documentation in our PQS
* Issuance and reconciliation of logbooks
* Movement of electronic files in Content Suite
Serve as a back up to the QA Archivist, this includes the following:
* Work closely with the off-site document storage vendor to ensure proper handling, storage,
and retrieval of documentation.
* Ensure off site storage inventory systems are reflective of the information retained within
Almac.
* Coordinate with the vendor to manage the transfer of documents to and from off-site storage.
* Archive documentation in accordance with procedures, ensuring ease of retrieval/access and
preservation of documentation.
* Regularly review the archive room logbook and actively follow up on documentation that has
been logged out of the archive.
* Keep the archive clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
*
HS Diploma or equivalent
*
6+ years of QA experience (with HS Diploma)
*
4+ years of QA experience (with Associate's degree)
*
2+ years of QA Experience (with Bachelor's degree
Required Knowledge:
* Microsoft Office
* Managing of Staff
* Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Preferred Experience / Education:
*
Bachelor's Degree
*
2+ years working in quality assurance with a pharmaceutical company
*
1+ years working in a supervisory capacity
Preferred Knowledge:
*
Quality systems
*
Electronic archival systems
