Job Description:

Summary:

The position is a detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing trucks, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment. This role involves operating a stand-up forklift, using handheld scanners for inventory tracking, and processing shipments through the FedEx system, and fulfilling production line requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Coordinates and schedules inbound and outbound truck deliveries.

  • Receives, inspects, and documents incoming shipments.

  • Prepares and ships outgoing orders using FedEx shipping software.

  • Operates a stand-up forklift to load/unload and move materials.

  • Uses handheld scanners to track and update inventory in real time.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintains accurate inventory records and performs regular cycle counts.

  • Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies.

  • Ensures proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials.

Production Fulfillment Support:

  • Picks and stages materials and components for production lines based on work orders.

  • Replenishes production line inventory to ensure continuous workflow.

  • Communicates with production staff to anticipate material needs and avoid delays.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of$22.52 to$28.52.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations.

  • Familiarity with computers.

  • Familiarity with scanning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Previous Fed Ex shipping experience.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
