Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing and leading a team of direct labor associates in the manufacture and assembly of products, components and parts for custom ambulance emergency vehicles. This position has great emphasis on highly skilled processes, complex assemblies and testing. The Production Supervisor, under the direction of the Director of Operations, is responsible for establishing required staffing levels, training and developing personnel, managing employees' schedules, completing annual employee performance reviews, setting departmental and individual performance objectives, and driving continuous improvement. Supervisor works closely with supporting departments - Engineering, Human Resources, Maintenance, Purchasing, Quality, Safety, and Sales to meet overall performance objectives. The Supervisor must also lead the team in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:

Description of Work Environment and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an indoor/outdoor plant non-climate-controlled area. The noise level is usually moderate. In the plant, eye protection is mandatory, hearing protection and dust mask may be required in identified areas. Physical Demand:
Contact with Others: Ability to work in a "team atmosphere" or independently in a fast-paced environment. Has contact with other production personnel, Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Lean, Product Support and other personnel or Vendors, as necessary.
