Overview:

This position is eligible to receive a $20,000Sign-On Bonus.

This position is split between 2 locations - 50% at East Broad & 50% at Canal Winchester

Job Description Summary:

Oversees radiologic technologists and the performance of diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises and assists staff in performing radiologic procedures and maintaining equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinates training and continuing education for staff.
  • Collaborates other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.

Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.

Licensure Requirement:

  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
  • Valid "R" category Ohio Radiological License, required.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Certifications:

CPR certification, required.

Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience:

  • Five years of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences, required.
  • Two years of supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
