Location: Jacksonville preferred, Remote/WFH will be considered

Salary range: $185K - $195K, plus bonus, variable compensation and company car

What work will you perform?

The Vice President of Corporate Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the long-term growth, scalability, and market leadership of the organization. This position demands a visionary leader capable of crafting and executing transformative sales strategies that align with broader business objectives. The person in this role will lead high-performing teams, foster strategic partnerships, and implement innovative approaches to expand market share, enhance profitability, and sustain competitive advantage in a dynamic marketplace.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Develop Corporate Sales Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to enhance Landstar's market share, focusing on customer relationships across diverse service lines and industries.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor the corporate sales team to achieve sales objectives while fostering professional growth and collaboration.


  • Sales Process Optimization: Streamline sales operations and account planning processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Create workflows supporting a shared process across the organization.


  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate sales strategies and progress against annual goals, providing insights and adjustments to achieve objectives leveraging existing CRM.
  • Account Management: Identify and prioritize high-value corporate accounts, uncovering opportunities to expand partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with agents, field sales teams, and Business Capacity Owners (BCOs) to ensure alignment and a unified approach to customer engagement.


  • Strategic Planning: Develop account plans that maximize customer spending and transportation service utilization while ensuring long-term success.
  • Travel Commitment: Be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings and strategic engagements.



Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years' experience in sales in the transportation industry, or a related field



Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Business degree with a specialization in Logistics/Transportation Management
  • Truckload Sales and sales management experience
  • Sales experience with large accounts

Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations



  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Must be eligible for international travel and able to obtain a passport
