Overview This role supports the company's transition from on-premises infrastructure to the Azure cloud. You'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting both on-prem and cloud environments, with a focus on assisting in a large-scale cloud migration project. You'll collaborate with IT, security, and development teams to ensure secure, efficient delivery of business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities * Support and maintain on-prem and Azure cloud server environments. * Assist in the migration of systems and services from on-prem to Azure. * Collaborate with IT Security, Software Development, and Infrastructure teams. * Participate in planning and implementing technical architecture and tools. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members. * Stay current with technologies relevant to cloud and hybrid environments. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 3+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or cloud environments. * Experience with: * Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 * Server and cloud virtualization * Public, private, and hybrid cloud environments * Windows server and workstation OS Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Azure Bicep for infrastructure as code (IaC). * Familiarity with ITIL or Agile methodologies. * Experience with: * Enterprise-level system and hardware design * Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * CI/CD pipelines * The company's specific server, network, and cloud environments Skills & Abilities * Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Ability to: * Work independently and as part of a team * Solve problems creatively * Maintain confidentiality * Train others on systems * Lift up to 50 lbs if needed *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
