Maintenance Operations Program Manager
Gorman & Company is seeking a highly organized and driven
Maintenance Operations Program Manager to lead inspection readiness, maintenance process documentation, system implementation, and operational efficiency initiatives across our nationwide multifamily housing portfolio. This role is instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing maintenance procedures, and supporting field teams through data analysis, cross-functional coordination, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and documentation for HUD INSPIRE, insurance, and partner inspections.
- Coordinate inspection outcomes and follow-ups with internal/external teams.
- Support implementation and maintenance of CMMS/RealPage systems.
- Analyze maintenance data to improve processes and ensure compliance.
- Maintain SOPs, certifications, training programs, and vendor databases.
- Oversee maintenance readiness at new properties and ensure proper handoffs.
- Plan and coordinate nationwide maintenance and safety training.
- Support emergency response protocols and after-hours procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in multifamily maintenance operations, compliance, or program management.
- Familiarity with HUD INSPIRE standards, capital planning, and risk management in multifamily housing is preferred.
- Strong skills in project management, data analysis, and organizational systems.
- Experience with RealPage or similar property management technology platforms.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required, including overnight stays.
