Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your operations and personnel management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and safety-focused teammates. You'll ensure the seamless operations of trains, passenger movement, and the readiness of wayside system components and personnel, making a direct impact on delivering reliable and efficient transportation services. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Operations Control Center, Maintenance Teams, and Service Planning), enforce safety standards, and develop shift work schedules, and much more." We'll look to you for:
Enforcing LINXS Operators' safety policies and standards. ,
Conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and other safety-related tasks to reduce hazards and identify risks. ,
Communicating and training employees on safety standards and procedures. ,
Correcting unacceptable behavior and determining if corrective actions or progressive discipline are required. ,
Reporting all incidents that affect safety and passenger service availability to the Operations Control Center and senior staff. ,
Developing and implementing shift work schedules to support passenger service availability effectively. ,
Supervising passenger service availability activities, including service levels, radio communication, spare train utilization, troubleshooting, and testing. ,
Implementing contingency plans for service disruptions and emergencies to minimize delays. ,
Ensuring vehicles are scheduled for service, inspections, cleaning, or repair at the correct times and locations. ,
Evaluating and prioritizing operating schedules, maintenance assignments, and train movements while adhering to safety rules and procedures."
