Consumer Reporting Analyst

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Consumer Reporting Analyst to join our team! This position will query, compile, and analyze reports, metrics system testing.

Essential Duties:

• Produce and distribute various data analytics using Business Intelligence (BI) analytical reports, loan origination system, ancillary applications, and Excel, as requested, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Reconcile various data sources to maintain data integrity for consumer lending reporting.
• Support consumer lending partners and leaders across the company to provide data with respect to consumer lending activities.
• Maintain confidentiality as it relates to employee privacy and sensitive financial information.
• Support IT Application Services to ensure integrity of data, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure documentation of analytical and BI processes are consistently maintained and up-to-date.
• Support streamlining of manual or nonautomated tasks in the department.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests.
• Provide line 1 support for application review and adherence to processes and regulations
• Provide system support for enhancements and releases.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, finance or related field OR an associate degree / two years of college + two (2) years of related work/military experience OR four (4) years of related work/military experience (plus any additional required experience).
• A minimum of three (3) years in loan origination information systems, business intelligence, reporting or related experience.

The following would be a plus:

• Experience with reporting and data analytics.
• Business Intelligence reporting experience.
